Diwali Celebration (Session 2022-23)

Diwali is the most awaited festival in India. It is celebrated in many diverse ways by the people of India. It signifies the return of Lord Ram, Lakshman and Maa Sita from exile after destroying the Demon king Ravan. It is celebrated as Lakkhi Pujo in Bengal, as Bandichhor Diwas in Punjab, and Naraka Chaturdashi in southern India.
Students of Primary School celebrated Diwali with great fervor and festivity in a special assembly today. Students were told about the significance of the festival. It was stressed upon the students to celebrate a green Diwali by bursting green crackers, recycling and upcycling decorations and refusing the usage of plastic and by planting and gifting plants and saplings.
The students put up a tremendous performance of sons and dance that had the audience swaying in rhythm.
“With the gleam of the Diyas and the echoes of the Chants, May happiness and contentment fill our lives this Diwali “
